All business units of GWF will: Strive to meet consumer demands in providing nutritious foods. Be seen as a respected educator of nutrition through the provision of factual and scientific information regarding the nutritional benefits of all GWF products. Promote and communicate the benefits of GWF products in the context of a healthy diet, while also acknowledging other whole foods which may provide similar benefits. Ensure consumer information is not misleading or confusing. This includes, nutrition education resources, images and information on food packaging and supporting material. Comply with current food legislation. These include: Food Standards Australia & New Zealand (FSANZ) Food Standards Code, Trade Practices Act, Trade measurement, and Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) as well as the Code of Practice on Nutrient Claims. Monitor nutrition as a public and scientific issue by keeping up-to-date with the latest nutrition trends, and by being aware of government nutrition education strategies and food and nutrition policy. Support nutrition research by respected institutions, as well as being known as a company that conducts its own basic nutrition research.
